We are back from the doctor's today and Madison is now sporting a brand new bright yellow cast! (with glow in the dark stars!) The doctor said it was a clean break and should be a fairly easy repair; with only 4 to 6 weeks in a cast. She has this cast for 2 weeks and will then return to get a new smaller cast that will be knee high for the remaining 4 weeks. The doctor also stated that the second cast she should be able to walk around a little bit on. Madison did real well and is now trying to learn how to get around on crutches.
