Madison and I made our end of season climb up Mt Saint Helen's. I try to do this every year with Madison. We drive up to the mountain, set up camp, then head up. The bonus is Huckleberries along the way. Since this is the season for them. Unfortunately, this years heavy snow made for a mediocre crop. Madison had a blast. However, we did not summit this time. It was a beautiful day up high with lots of clouds, chipmunks, Marmots and flowers. Hope you are all ending your summers on a good note, we have to prepare for the rains.
