This past week has been fairly uneventful. Madison did get her cast off! YEA! She really thought she would be able to take off running, biking etc., however her ankle was really locked up from being in the cast for six weeks. So she is now in a boot for three more weeks until the ankle loosens up and she can rebuild some of her muscles. She also participated in the school talent show this past week and did a wonderful job on the piano! Her recital is coming up in another month so once she goes to that I will post a video of her playing the piano. Collette is doing well too. She has been enjoying getting out this past week and going to some parks with me.
We have had some really cool animal life around our house lately. Take a look at these lovely critters!
We have also been getting out to do some metal detecting in the area. The girls have decided that they like going to the schools to check out the playgrounds. Today Collette and I walked away with $1.83, a watch, an ice cream cone charm from a necklace and a button. Not bad for just searching for an hour and a half! We are having fun with it!
